Virtual Estuary Project

WELCOME TO THE VIRTUAL ESTUARY!

The Virtual Estuary Project is a partnership between the CMRC, Key East Consulting and Fallout Pictures that aims to create an interactive world that explores the vast natural resources and varied coastal habitats found in the NY - NJ Harbor Bight ecosystem.

Using a variety of easy-to-use web-based programs students, parents, business-owners, scientists and elected officials alike can take a voyage to different habitats, meet new species and visit communities near and far through the links below.

Our interactive system allows users to gain in-depth knowledge of our impressive coastal metropolitan region from the classroom, the living room or the office! Stay-tuned for frequent updates to this page and for the Virtual Estuary DVD in 2007…

Let the journey begin!!!
